Dave Shepherd is one of Britain's greatest clarinettists, respected throughout the world for his skill in playing jazz from the Swing era. Inspired by the playing of Benny Goodman, his Quintet is formed with a similar line-up of instrumentalists as the Goodman groups of the 1930s and 40s. Plus special guests. To help celebrate the Christmas season Chelmsford Jazz Club welcomes Dave Shepherd who leads a line up of artists well known on the British scene.
