Ensemble 360 - Giddy Goat - Music in the Round archiveEnsemble 360 was formed in 2005 to take up residency in South Yorkshire succeeding The Lindsays who were retiring as a quartet. The ensemble brings together musicians from across the globe to form one versatile ensemble of eleven musicians; five wind players, a pianist, double bassist and the Elisas String Quartet. Being a mountain goat is no fun when you are scared of heights! Stand poor Giddy on a mountain ledge and his head starts spinning and his knees turn to jelly. Will Giddy find the fearless goat inside himself? This zany action-packed musical story of facing fears and making friends includes a game of rock rounders, a musical mutton, a clambering clarinet and a baa-ing bassoon. This concert is an exciting introduction to music for children aged 2 - 7 years. Following the 45 minute performance, you can meet the musicians, hear the instruments up close and join in a range of colouring and creative activities.
