Swedish born Hakan Vramsmo, after completing his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, made his Proms debut in 2001 singing Robert Easton in Vaughan Williams' A Serenade to Music. He has recently had a great success with the title role of Don Giovanni for English Touring Opera and in summer 2002 made his Alderburgh Festival debut.
