Extraordinary young singer from the Island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, she has a beautifully clear voice and sings haunting and evocative tunes in both English and her native Gaelic. She's worked with Phil Cunningham, Aly Bain and John McCusker - who knows a great singer when he hears one. Scottish singer Julie Fowlis, widely heralded for championing traditional Gaelic in her song-writing, will be leading this beautifully intimate concert in May.
