presented by Melting Vinyl Mercury Rev were formed in Buffalo, New York in the late 1980's. In the two decades since they have never ceased to amaze with their shimmering cinematic explorations into musical mystery and wonder. Mixing intricate melodies, dreamy poetic lyrics and meandering, open-ended arrangements with Jonathan Donahue's irreplaceable voice they first caught the main stream in 1997 with the critically acclaimed masterpiece Deserter's Songs. 2008 sees them release two new albums, one available as a free download and one for sale. This is an amazing opportunity to catch one of world's finest rock bands outside of big city venues, please buy early to avoid disappointment.
