Part of the BBC Proms. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra presents one of the most popular works in the British choral repertoire: Mendelssohn's Elijah. Full of earthquakes and hurricanes, fiery chariots, wicked queens and holy visions, this intensely dramatic oratorio is brought to life by the SCO's exciting young Music Director Maxim Emelyanychev alongside soloists including Roderick Williams and Carolyn Sampson.
