Part of the BBC Proms. Poetry, art and music itself inspire this programme. Scriabin's The Poem of Ecstasy fuses poetry and music in pursuit of sexual bliss and spiritual transcendence. Turnage's On Opened Ground pays tribute to the poet Seamus Heaney.
