Originally from Iceland but now living in New York, Sunna's music appeals to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Her own piano playing is much influenced by American pianists such as Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett as well the Scandinavian Bobo Stenson and has developed its own charming brand of lyricism.
