When Lady Whittle's plans for an improving lecture evening run into trouble, she has no option but to enlist the help of her wayward butler, Prune. With a piano, a gramophone and a trunk full of costumes the company of two embark on a mission to enlighten the audience on the subject of opera, taking extraordinary liberties with some of the world's greatest and best known operas in order to complete their mission in under 100 minutes. La Traviata, Carmen, Madame Butterfly, Orpheus in the Underworld....to name but a few, are presented as never before in a hugely comic and entertaining show for all the family.
