The Halle bring to the City Hall a colourful and exciting French Programme under the French conductor Louis Langree. The evening will start with Dukas Sorcerers Apprentice, which has been a great favourite with audiences ever since it was included in Walt Disneys Fantasia. Renaud Capucon will perform Saint-Saenss dazzling Havanaise, Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso as well as Ravels rhapsodic Tzigane. In the second half the orchestra will perform Ravels delightful Mother Goose Suite and Debussys evocative La Mer. The Halle website.
