The Long Rain - a piece for ensemble, electronics and film. The concert will be accompanied by a film directed by Michael Kreihsl based on the British science fiction writer Ray Bradbury's 1946 story of the same name. Four soldiers trek through relentless, pelting rain in search of the ominous sun dome where they hope to find warmth, shelter and relief from exhaustion.
