Following the success of their sell-out 'comeback' gig last year, Cardiff's pre-Cool Cymru kings, The Third Uncles return with a special Christmas show which promises to smoulder and blaze like a paraffin-doused Yuletide log. NME said they produced ?songs with a hint of vengeance' whilst Record Collector this year gave their ?Anthology' CD a four star review calling them 'enthralling, gripping and smouldering'. The band have been encouraged to record and they may be persuaded to premiere some of the new songs in this year's extravaganza! The show will also feature those crazy people The Ukelaliens who promise wild renditions of rock and pop classics in a way you've never experienced them before, and a scorching set from Brothers - a young and highly-touted Cardiff based quintet who were this year championed by NME and BBC Introducing.
