Popular pieces for strings by Grieg, Dvorak and Holst will form the centrepiece of Worthing Symphony Orchestra's Autumn Delights. As a woodwind category finalist in BBC Young Musician 2014, Jess was awarded the prestigious Walter Todd Bursary during the final and performed alongside Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and runs her own annual concert series in Ulverston at which previous acts have included Snake Davis and the Suspicions, Courtney Pine, The Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra, The Apollo Saxophone Quartet and Niko and the Terry Turner Trio. Jess has won many awards including Best Young Musician in the North-West from Awards for Young Musicians and an ABRSM Diploma in 2012 when she was age 15. Other accolades have included becoming the youngest ever endorsee for Yanagisawa Saxophones and being recently asked to be a Vandoren UK artist. She will perform Glazunov's Saxophone Concerto with Worthing Symphony Orchestra during Autumn Delights. Long-standing Worthing Symphony Orchestra soloist, award-winning pianist Anthony Hewitt also joins the orchestra to perform the romantic Piano Concerto by Doreen Carwithen which was originally premiered at the 1952 Henry Wood Proms.
