Firebird (1964) - Maurice Bejart’s Firebird jettisons Stravinsky’s fairytale for a modern all-male interpretation that recasts the Firebird as a tough revolutionary Phoenix. The Golden Section (1981) - Twyla Tharp’s supersonic piece is set to a fantastic score by David Byrne (ex-Talking Heads). A glittering display of daredevil dance: with breathtaking leaps, finely-honed partnering and explosive joy throughout. Revelations (1960) - The signature piece of Ailvin Ailey is an American classic, performed to rapt audiences across the world since the 1960s. Buoyed by traditional spirituals from the American South, Revelations only improves with age.
