Courageous and considered, Wrongheaded is a finely crafted dance performance by Liz Roche Company. Venting anger, frustration and gentle hope, Elaine Feeney's poetic text underscores the piece, with film work by Mary Wycherley. In This Moment emerged last year from Countless Yellow Chairs, a work La?la Diallo created with composer Jules Maxwell. Drawing on and transforming the material of that piece, La?la finds new threads and connections for this compelling solo work. Her exploration touches on notions of change, of memory, memories and the passing of time.
