SHIVA’S THIRD EYE narrates various incidents involving Shiva, the destroyer of all evil and the god of dance. Shiva was a god justifiably famed for his short temper but generous spirit. This piece tells the story of how the elephant headed god Ganesh got his elephant head, how Shiva drank poison to save the world from destruction, how he made love prevail over the universe and how all the dance in the world originated in the vibrations of his movement. THE ANKLETS is an adaptation of the ancient Tamil epic, Silapadikaram. It tells the story of a wealthy, handsome man Kovalan, his beautiful and spirited wife, Kannagi, the famous courtesan and dancer Madhavi, the King of Madurai and his scheming Royal Jeweller.
