Phoenix Dance Company are one of the leading exponents of contemporary dance. Galili first created Until.With/Out.Enough in 1998, to immersive music by Henryk G?recki. He now revisits the work in this new version, co-commissioned by The Royal Ballet. Watson's acclaimed DNA-inspired work Repetition of Change was her first exploration of ways to express science through dance. She now investigates the scientific complexity of tears ? the surprising truths behind the physical and emotional purposes of crying ? in TearFall, with support from the Wellcome Trust. Caroline Finn was an award-winner at the 2014 New Adventures Choreographer Awards, and creates Bloom for Phoenix Dance Theatre as part of the award. With playful, darkly comic choreography, Finn creates a surreal universe populated by tragicomic characters, who gradually emerge from behind their facades as they tell their stories.
