Sum of Parts is a compelling new work from Sadler’s Wells’ Creative Learning department, Connect. It brings together the choreographic talents of Sadler’s Wells’ Associate Artists including Hofesh Shechter Company, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Kate Prince’s ZooNation, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Russell Maliphant Company and Wayne McGregor ¦ Random Dance with a cast of 200. Performers range from The Company of Elders to ZooYouth, alongside dancers from local schools, youth clubs and community groups. This diverse company of people, all living or working in London, encompasses all ages and levels of experience. In collaboration with the Associate Artists they will explore questions of identity and belonging to create a thought provoking performance that combines dance, text, animation and the spellbinding music of Nitin Sawhney.
