Wild Card is a Sadler's Wells initiative that gives artists the opportunity to present the work of their choice. It aims to bring fresh ideas to the stage by giving young creators a platform to share the work they admire. Wild Card returns with a new generation of artists invited to curate their own night. This summer, we welcome Livia Rita with her Wild Card, FUTURA Glitch. Experience the collaboration of musicians, designers, dancers, writers, thinkers, and activists. Livia creates her own mythology, populating the Lilian Baylis Studio with unearthly creatures that build bridges between worlds. There will be ritualistic spells cast to help us heal and grow our superpowers to shift our fears and desires. Through this soft rave in utopia, you will leave with a fresh perspective having briefly escaped our increasingly precarious reality.
