platformONE, a showcase of urban and contemporary dance theatre featuring some of the top emerging talent in the region, returns to Watford Palace Theatre. Since its birth in the USA , hip hop dance has swept the UK and is now massively popular. platformONE blends contemporary dance with hip hop, creating energetic and stylised unique performances. Previous guests have included World Hip Hop Champions Plague and Sin Cru, former UK Champions and Britain’s Got Talent finalists Nemisis and UK Hip Hop Junior Varsity Bronze Medalists Dance Nuvo, plus local artists such as idance, T21 Collective, Alter Ego, R-te Crew, XenZam, alongside the best of work from local dance groups and schools.
