On the rim of the world and at the edge of the night, they travel beyond the everyday to an extraordinary land of dreams. An evocative journey with music inspired by memories of childhood, sleep and the magical power of dreaming. Scottish Premiere. Members of Scottish Opera’s Connect Company are joined by a cast of 50 from the Citizens Theatre’s acclaimed Community Performance Programme for adults and children. Accompanied by players from Scottish Opera’s Connect Orchestra- 15 young musicians from 16-21 years. On the Rim of the World was a collaborative commission by eight of the UK’s opera houses in 2007.
