A Victorian family engage with the age old enemy - the French. Will the Bulldog spirit prevail as the French move from croquet to love? Will passion and romance overcome honour and decency? First performed in 1947, Bless the Bride ran for 3 years with over 800 performances at London's Adelphi Theatre, making it the longest running musical in the West End at the time.
