Hetty wants a glorious 'do' for her Pearl Wedding Anniversary, but Harry resists. Why? Is her entire marriage a sham? She reviews the last 30 years 20 - from clumsy courtship, through near divorce, to the climactic cutting of her anniversary cake. A comic tale set in the Bronx, full of marital mayhem, show-stopping numbers... and maybe a touch of schmaltz.
