Details

New York in the 1940s: when panic attacks and depression intrude on the glamorous life of fashion editor Liza Elliott, she visits a therapist. Her memories are presented as extravagant musical dream numbers, representing the pressures of the present and the traumas of her past. Once she has confronted her neuroses Liza is able to face her job and her relations with her fianc? and a rival admirer.
