User Reviews

USER (11Jan01): I.ve recently seen the show at the Ashcroft Theatre at Fairfield Halls in Croydon (18/2/00) and it was brilliant...I'm now considering to see it again but with a bigger group of friends...I had never seen the show before but from my experience of loud musicals I know that Rocky Horror is to be one of my favourites. Every character lives up to the part...the narrator was Nicholas Parsons when I went to go and see it but I have been told that it is usually Ken Morley and from friends I have learnt that he doesn't give the role justice at times...I disagree with the Croydon Advertiser's views on Andy Mace as Riff-Raff. He (especially)and Alex Bourne (Frank n'Furter) gave a brilliant portrayl of both characters. The phantoms were really good but my friend frequently turned to me and told me that at times they seemed (almost)bored. I loved the show and recommend everyone to go see the show and to dress up...I did and I am now no longer a virgin to the Rocky Horror Show!
