Details

This comic operetta is an enchanting tale of youth, and the love that develops between Ciboulette, a market girl from Aubervillers who is full of the joys of spring and Antonin, a young nobleman. Their journey is comically based around three peculiar predictions of an old fortune teller by which Biboulette will know her true love, whilst eight self-assured fianc Ciboulette is to be set in contemporary Paris and performed in French with English surtitles. The three lead singers are three professional French singers, with support from UCL's energetic chorus.
