This combination of physical theatre and modern opera follows a 12th century troubadour Kaija Saariaho’s opera, L’Amour de loin, was described by The New York Times as ‘Best New Work of the Year 2000’. Having directed the worldwide sensation Corteo for Cirque du Soleil, Daniele Finzi Pasca turns his creative vision to a major new production of this work for ENO.
