CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned re-opening time though it will not be before 1st June 2020 and is most likely to be September (according to some West End producers). Some shows have been cancelled, or closed early, but many are being rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with the changes - assume that anything posted for April to August is actually postponed or cancelled. It now looks likely that little will return till 2021.

A fusion of dance, opera and music, Pleasure's Progress: A tale of Sex! Wigs! Wags! 'n' Bawds explores the vistas and vision of the English painter, printmaker and satirist William Hogarth (1696-1764). Tuckett brings Hogarth's dark pictorial narratives bang up to date, drawing on material from some of his most celebrated work including - A Rake's Progress, Marriage a la mode,, A Harlot's Progress, Four Stages of Cruelty and Beer Street and Gin Lane, combining a vivid slice of historical Covent Garden with contemporary urban life. Supported by the paul Hamlyn Education Fund.

Music Paul Englishby. Lyrics Alasdair Middleton. Director Will Tuckett. Choreographer Will Tuckett. Design Jon Bausor. Lighting Jon Clark.
