Within the polarised forces of Night and Day, the characters Tamina, Pamino and Papagena search for personal identity. They are consistently challenged by the King of Night, his henchmen, and the leader of light, Sarastra. This show promises a flamboyant take on the classic opera, with moments which challenge the status quo and hold a mirror to our society. We hope you enjoy this magical journey complete with magic, snakes, vibrant birds with a touch of mischief and rebellion. Step through the looking glass with the Curious Opera Company as they embark on a swapped version of Mozart's fantastical opera, The Magic Flute.
