Brighton based BandBazi (Love Indeed and Breakfast at Audrey's) combine aerial trapeze with emotionally charged and character driven narratives. In 1963 Shakespeare's classic tale of destructive passion - Antony and Cleopatra - got a big-screen makeover care of two of the 20th century's most celebrated lovers: Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. It was a love-struck collision of on-screen chemistry and historic infamy. Played out 20 feet above the audience by actors/aerialists Alex Poulter and Philippa Vafadari, John Binnie's startling new aerial drama explores the all-consuming passion that made Mark Antony and his Egyptian queen such tragic lovers, and transformed Burton and Taylor into the celebrity icons of their era. Can such lust sustain itself? Or is it destined to burn out? Pitching Shakespeare's text with the earthly reality of human relations, Love Indeed is a playful and erotically charged encounter with power and deadly desire. Suitable for age 15+
