Details

The final production of the season and the last under the stewardship of Sam Walters will be a festival of new work from new directors. We have invited those directors who began at the Orange Tree as Trainee Directors after 2000 to submit ideas and we are planning 2 evening programmes of 3 plays each plus a lunchtime production. So at least 7 plays (maybe involving music and dance) will be presented during the final 3 weeks of June, including lunchtime performances which are what we began with all those years ago on the last day of 1971.
