It tells the true story of Walter Calverley who murdered his two eldest sons and attempted to murder his wife and younger song on April 23rd 1605. Not suitable for children. Part of the Shakespeare Apocrypha. The play was originally assigned to William Shakespeare, though the modern critical consensus rejects this attribution, favouring Thomas Middleton.
