Kidnapped as a young boy, Ben has little understanding of the real world when he is finally reunited with his family at eighteen years old. The media are obsessed with his 'story' and Ben finds himself entrapped in a new kind of captivity until he meets Ella, a young woman who forces him to confront what happened. Challenging the media's fixation with child abduction and celebrity acquired by tragedy, the questions surrounding Ben's disappearance gradually begin to surface. What happened to him whilst he was locked up? And how will he adjust to a new life without the man who held him captive?
