A century ago a small village community sees a generation of young men leave to fight for King and Country. When the men are gone what happens to those that remain? Forest Forge shines a light on the personal stories that didn't make it into the history books. This is part of Battle Lines, a trilogy of short plays looking at the region's experiences of war and exploring the way three wars have shaped the lives of generations. The other two plays can be seen in The Salberg on the same day.
