Bed Show archiveIt's any Sunday morning around about now. There's this bed. From opposite ends a man and a woman emerge. The aftermath of any drunken Saturday night. First polite half-smiles, they must have all, mustn't they? Then their brains kick in. Incredulity: he can't believe his luck; she can't believe she was that drunk. Suddenly, from the middle of the bed, this luxurious groan like someone in the final throes of a marathon sex dream. The couple double-take in disbelief and horror and all things nice: they both realise they're looking into their futures and they don't know where they're going and if they've go the strength, the nous, the imagination to get there. Bed Show explodes these twenty-somethings' hopes and dreams. So what if they get called adults, this world has no values: money talks loudest, they know the battle of the sexes was won so long ago one can remember, they know it's only desire gets you up in the morning and to bed each night. But last night was different and this time leaving the scene of the accident won't be so easy, Bed Show gets inside this threesome's heads so intensely and intimately that all the nightmares and the possibilities come tumbling out of bed.
