Details

A re-working of the classic Border folktale Childe Rowland, Burd Ellen sets out on a quest to save her much-loved youngest brother, Childe Rowland, from the clutches of the Elf Queen. Her two elder brothers have already tried and failed. Guided by the wizard Merlin, Burd Ellen faces down a series of dangers and has some very tough decisions to make before she can finally free her brother from the Elf Queen. Come and join her on her journey!
