'Kill them all: God will recognise his own'. The story of mass destruction of a peaceful religious movement is juxtaposed with Ionesco's The Chairs. In medieval times, the peaceful Cathars were wiped out because they posed a threat to a powerful religion by denying materialism. Today, two elderly people caught up in their own isolation try to leave their message to the world.
