Details
Mention of the name John George Haigh and it usually draws blank looks, mention the Acid Bath Murderer however and you are talking of a killer as notorious as Jack the Ripper and the Boston Strangler. Many of Haigh's victims ended their lives in his workshop in Crawley, and Horsham Police played a vital part in his eventual arrest and subsequent Committal Hearing at the Old Town Hall. The play is set during the last few months of Haigh's life.
