Discontented Winter: House Remix - National Theatre Shell Connections Festival 2004 archiveThe play weaves many elements of Shakespeare's classics into a futuristic setting. Opposing factions are both, unknown to each other, plotting to kidnap one of two royal princes. The 'Low Sweeties' are led by a despotic and crafty young hoodlum, the 'Top Totties' by a socialite with her eye on the main chance. On the night of the hit, against a backdrop of increasingly stormy weather, things get a little mixed up. Discontented Winter is a play you can pause/hold/fastforward. It's you finger on the remote... Discontented Winter: House Remix is performed as part of Shell Connections 2004, an international celebration of youth theatre administered by Royal National Theatre.
