I Luv You Jimmy Spud archiveI Luv You Jimmy Spud is the story of Jimmy, an 11-year old Geordie boy who gets an apprenticeship as an angel much to his father's distress, who had high hopes for Jimmy as a footballer. Jimmy's family - the long-suffering mother, his unemployed father and militant communist grandad - become mildly concerned about the boy given that he spends much of his time wearing a frock and practising his 'celestial' trumpet with his new friend Scout; but when Jimmy's dad develops lung cancer, the little boy puts all his powers into saving his father. Double bill with The Sorrows of Sandra Saint.
