Looking Out to See archiveA group of teenagers leave from their youth centre in Cardiff on a mini-bus and head for the boat to take them to Skomer Island. Looking Out to Sea is a poetic exploration of teenage dreams, fears and aspirations, which takes us to the edge of the cliff and back again. Looking Out to See, written in 1996, is a poignant play created especially for young performers. It premiered in 1996 at The Sherman Theatre when the Sherman Youth Theatre perofrmed at as part of 'A Generation Arises' Ten years on, and it returns to The Sherman with a talented cast from the award-winning Acting Out Cardiff young people's performance project.
