Loss archiveA visual story with British Sign Language. A deaf woman at the crossroads of her life. Gertrude's sense of identity as a woman and as a deaf person is affected when she is betrayed by a friend and is forced to be sterilised by the Nazis. This innovative piece has the aim to create a form of theatre from a deaf perspective using BSL as the main language. The company includes hearing actors using voice so the work they bring is accessible and enjoyable to all.
