For Mike, being a volunteer lifeboat man is his passion. He's always on the alert, ready to run for the boat whenever the alarm is sounded. It can be difficult for the rest of his family, living with the local hero. But things look up when eldest son Sam comes to visit after five years living in the fast lane in New York.
