Set in the days leading up to September 11, Mayhem is a powerful play centring on Susan, an American woman suddenly coming to terms with her place in the world and her country's responsibility for the suffering of others. Powerful and searching yet possessed of its own dark humour, Mayhem is a play about waking up to life and the truth of our connections with the world around us.
