A compulsive liar, techophobic ex-postmistress, misogynist bar tender, eighteen year old mistress and stiletto fetishist all feature in this series of monologues offering 12 slices of very different lives on Tyneside in the year 2000. Some of the country's finest writers are contributing to the series. Each evening offers the opportunity to see six monologues. Touching, disturbing but always funny, NE1 is a theatrical experience which will entertain and exhilarate. The show runs for 2 hours 30 mins including a 20 min interval.
