Nightflights archiveA teasing exuberant tale of human souls stumbling into their desires and dreams. What do we love when we fall in love? How do we grow up and take desire with us? And can we keep the faith when the magic fails? In this dazzling multi-layered look at story telling and the stories we tell ourselves; dancing princesses defy the king to meet their underground princes, a writer waits for his story to fly, a stalled woman loses her will to move forwards while a soldier's luck takes flight with a magical cloak. In a sensuous shifting vision of love and retreat comes the searching man whose wife has disappeared. And another man escapes into a dress...This daring play gives us Marcella Evaristi at her tender, hilarious heart-breaking best. Sponsored by Glenvarigill SEAT.
