The fourth and most daring production from Rogue Theatre creates a unique and richly imagined epic in Pathway to the Red Sun. The show is Inspired by Madame Butterfly and set in a futuristic landscape. This love story unfolds in the dreams of a soldier and the heart of a woman as they search for innocence and confront their destiny. Pathway to the Red Sun is inspired and makes visual reference to films such as Donnie Darko, Pan's Labyrinth and Blade Runner. The powerful narrative blends with a sometimes gothic visual style (flavoured by Tim Burton), moments of high pathos and a stunning soundtrack of live music.
