A comedy drama which asks some questions about family life in the early twenty-first century. "When does a child become an adult? What makes a good parent? What's it like being 17? What's the real meaning of independence?" 17 year old Will has two mothers. Frances wants to write mysteries; Chris wants to play guitar and join a band. When Will drops out of school he lands in a heap of questions that the mothers rush to answer. But they're not convincing because what's sauce for the geese isn't served up for the gander.
