Romeo and Juliet archiveThe story of frustrated young (illegally young in modern terms) love and death and the vendetta between two families in a tight-knit Italian community. One of Shakespeare's most popular and enduring dramas it has also been re-done as film, ballet, musical (most notably "West Side Story") and ice spectacular! The audience will follow the star crossed lovers as they risk everything to be together, in a performance that uses the many spaces within Ipswich Town Hall, moving from one location to the next. This is a professionally produced production that uses an amateur cast of actors from Suffolk and the wider region. Made by the New WolseyTheatre as a part of the RSC's Open Stages project.
