Sam Spencer and his wife Fay are about to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime in a luxurious Spanish village secretly 'borrowed' from her boss. Meanwhile, once-famous actor Howard Booth also 'borrows' the villa, bringing along his sharp-witted new girlfriend and all his old films on video. As they fight over the villa and avoid the snake asleep on the terrace, Howard realises that his prized bag of videos has been switched at the airport - with a bag full of cash!
